On our endless quest to discover new and special poncha bars, we stumbled upon this unique gem in Canico. We had heard about it and, on a rainy day, decided it was the perfect time to check it out. To our surprise, even on a gloomy day, the place was bustling with people. That’s when we knew we were in for something special.

Stepping inside, we were overwhelmed by the sight of scarves and photos from football clubs all over the world. It didn’t take long to figure out that the owner is a true football fanatic. We made our way to a cozy back room, equally decorated with football memorabilia, and ordered three different ponchas: Tangerine, Original, and Mint. Each one was absolutely delicious. That’s when we knew "Venda do Socio" absolutely deserved a place on our map of the best poncha bars on Madeira Island.
