Welcome to the enchanting Botanical Garden at Quinta Splendida Hotel in Caniço, Madeira! This stunning garden extends over 30,000 m² and was designed by the owner in 1990. It boasts over 1,000 plant species, with 650 labeled for easy identification, and is lovingly tended by a team of six gardeners. The thoughtful design ensures continuous blooming throughout the seasons, featuring a mix of endemic and imported plants, including some from the Canary Islands.

From exotic orchids to towering palm trees, every corner of this garden bursts with vibrant colors and intoxicating scents. Feeling peckish? As you meander through this tropical wonderland, keep an eye out for the aromatic herb garden. You might even catch a whiff of fresh rosemary or mint.
