Good To Know
We passed this Poncha many times and never stopped because it lies on a busy road connecting the south to the north via the east route. We heard a lot about this place but somehow never stopped and as so many times we passed it again and decided to stop and finally try the famous Poncha. And boy were we happy that we stopped.
This place is two in one. A Poncha Place and a Restaurant that offers delicious snacks. We will not focus on the food because this category only deals with the Poncha.
The waiter asked us which Poncha we wanted and we asked which ones were on the list. After the 7th Poncha we knew this place is all about Poncha and need to be on this list. We opted in the end for the Poncha Tangarin and it was really tasty.
So whenever you find yourself on this busy street heading towards the northeast of Madeira (like Santa Cruz) stop here, enjoy the view and have some tasty Poncha. You will love it.
