Perched high above Ponta do Garajau in Santa Cruz, this viewpoint isn’t just a nice stop—it’s the stop. Imagine standing on the edge of a cliff, the Atlantic Ocean stretching endlessly in front of you, waves whispering “stay forever,” and even Funchal Bay casually waving hello in the distance. It’s like nature wrote you a love letter.
Oh, and did we mention? The Garajau Partial Nature Reserve surrounds this place. So while your eyes feast on the landscape, your soul gets a dose of peace, fresh ocean air, and maybe even a dolphin cameo if you’re lucky.
And yeah, the big statue of Jesus is there too—but trust us, the real star is the miradouro. Bring your camera, your sunglasses, and your “wow face.” There is also a nice beach celled Garajau Beach.
