Not all viewpoints are created equal, and we’ve visited plenty of them across Madeira. However, this one was simply impossible to pass by without stopping. Its excellent location offers breathtaking views both into Madeira’s lush valleys and out toward the vast Atlantic Ocean.
This hidden gem is called Miradouro da Santinha, and it even features a charming statue of Santinha. As a bonus, there’s running water available, making it an ideal spot for a small picnic amidst the beauty of nature.
We highly recommend adding this small yet fantastic viewpoint in northern Madeira to your itinerary!
