His daughter brought it to life inside, decorating it with warm, homey touches that make you feel like you're visiting old friends. Today, she runs the place full-time, serving up smiles, homemade snacks, and ponchas that could turn any tired hiker into a dancer.

During the day, it's a haven for walkers; at night, it’s a favorite among locals looking for good food, laughter, and art. Speaking of which—don’t miss the beautiful pieces on the walls, created by the daughter’s talented sister-in-law. Every artwork is for sale, ready to bring a slice of Madeira to your home.
