Looking for something a little different in Funchal? YouMe Cafe & Eatery combines specialty coffee, colourful drinks and Middle Eastern-inspired food in a modern, relaxed setting on Estrada Monumental.

The menu goes well beyond a typical café. You’ll find shawarma, falafel, hummus, baba ghanoush, kafta and hawawashi, alongside breakfast and brunch dishes, salads and plenty of vegan options. There’s even a Madeira twist on some dishes, such as shawarma served in traditional bolo do caco.

Drinks are a big part of YouMe too. Alongside espresso, cappuccino, flat white and cold brew, there’s a large selection of matcha drinks, homemade lemonades, smoothies and creative signature coffees. If you like trying something beyond the usual coffee order, there’s plenty to choose from.

The café itself is bright and contemporary, with a colourful floral mural that gives the interior its distinctive character. There’s also outdoor seating along the wide terrace in front of the café, making it an easy spot for breakfast, coffee, lunch or simply taking a break while exploring the Lido area.

YouMe is located at Savoy Residence Monumentalis on Estrada Monumental, in the São Martinho/Lido area of Funchal. It offers dine-in and takeaway, with seating both inside and outside. The current menu covers everything from breakfast and brunch through to full meals, desserts, coffee, matcha, smoothies, beer and wine.
